MariJo L. Gleeson

Director, Finance

MariJo L. Gleeson serves as Director of Finance at VentiRx. Ms. Gleeson has more than 15 years of professional experience in financial management and auditing in the biopharmaceutical and healthcare services industries. Ms. Gleeson recently served as an independent financial consultant for several years to Targeted Molecules Corporation, a venture-backed San Diego based biopharmaceutical firm pursuing the discovery and development of novel protein therapeutics.

Ms. Gleeson also has held a number of management positions with Harvard Pilgrim Health Plan, a managed care organization based in the Boston area. She held responsibilities in the areas of medical management, network contracting, regulatory reporting, tax, finance, and accounting.

Ms. Gleeson began her career in auditing and spent 7 years in public accounting. As an audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston, Ms. Gleeson specialized in serving healthcare clients, both public and private.

Ms. Gleeson received a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Science in Health Policy and Management from Harvard University.
